About the Opportunity

Lore Electric is looking for a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our team on multi-family construction projects in Vancouver, BC.

This role is best suited for a skilled electrician who can work independently, read drawings confidentiality, maintain high-quality installations, and help keep production moving on site. You'll work closely with Foremen, Project Managers, and site crews to deliver clean, code-compliant electrical work from rough-in through finishing. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete electrical installations in multi-family residential buildings, including suites, common areas, service rooms, parkades, and amenity spaces.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and site instructions.
  • Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code, site safety requirements, and Lore Electric quality standards.
  • Perform rough-in, wire pulling, device installation, panel work, troubleshooting, testing, and finishing.
  • Work independently while coordinating with Foremen and other trades.
  • Support apprentices and junior team members by setting a strong example for quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Use Procore and site communication tools to stay current on drawings, tasks, deficiencies, and project updates.
  • Help maintain an organized, professional, and efficient job site.

About You

To qualify, you are a Journeyman Electrician with experience in electrical construction. Red Seal certification is preferred, but strong non–Red Seal journeypersons with relevant multi-family experience will also be considered.
You’ll be a strong fit if:
  • You have experience on wood-frame, concrete, condo, apartment, or other multi-family residential projects.
  • You can read and work from electrical drawings with minimal supervision.
  • You take pride in clean, accurate, code-compliant work.
  • You are comfortable working independently and helping move the job forward.
  • You understand the importance of schedule, coordination, and communication on active construction sites.
  • You can support apprentices without needing to be formally asked.
  • You are open to using modern project tools like Procore to stay organized and efficient.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, certification, and project capability. Expected range: $38 – $45 per hour.
